Must have tools for vinyl cutting beginners
So you bought a Cricut. Now what? You probably have no idea where to begin. (this is how I felt for a long time). Mastering any vinyl cutting machine can be overwhelming because the opportunities for creativity are endless. There are just SO many things you can make with the Cricut. I’m excited to share more of these things in great depth later.
Before getting into the nitty gritty of how to use this machine, here are my three favorite, must have Cricut accessories.
The basic tool set is essential. When starting out, there’s really not another tool you will need outside of this set. When you begin to learn more complex projects there will be a need for some other tools but this is great starting point to learn.
This scraper is probably my favorite Cricut tool. It’s extra wide so it helps with larger surface area projects. It makes smoothing out the surface SO easy and oftentimes, one step.
These mats are the best. I’ve tried every brand and these deliver the best results. I like the standard grip. Depending on the project, there are times you’ll need light grip or strong grip, but standard is just right for when you’re starting out.
